Margarett DeGange, M.Ed., the owner of DeGangi Interiors, DeGangi Baby, and The DeGangi School of interior Decoration, based in College Station, TX.  She is a nationally respected Interior Decorator, writer, and speaker.  As a home fashions designer, Margarett helps her clients to create interior spaces that reflect the tastes and preferences of the homeowners and their families. 

Margarett specializes in Interior Redesign and custom window treatments and bedding. She has many years of experience in both design and construction of these highly custom products.  Margarett has earned the WCAA Certified Window Treatment Consultant certification, and has been named a Certified Professional by Window Fashions Magazine. She is also a member of the Interior Design Society, and a Cerified Professional Decorator through the Decorators' Alliance of North America. Margarett is a longstanding member of the Window Coverings Association of America, where she has served both locally and nationally, and currently serves as the national Vice-President. She has served as the National Director of Training for the Window Coverings University, and currently serves as a business advisor for the Exciting Windows Network. Margarett's designs and articles have been featured in many national publications, including Window Fashions Magazine, Out Here Magazine, Furniture World Magazine, Dream Windows, and many others.

Margarett earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Education degrees from Texas A&M University with focuses in Leadership and Communication, and Adult Education-with specialties in Economics and On-line/Distance Learning. Margarett's creative home fashions designs have been sought out around the country, and range from classic and simple to highly elaborate. Her design education and training is extensive, and includes home fashions design and fabrication, window treatment and slipcover design and construction, Redesign and Home Staging, color theory/color psychology, bedding and baby bedding design and construction, and many aspects of Interior Decorating. She has been involved in the decorating industry for 20 years. She has been teaching professionally for over 15 years.

Margarett's philosophy in decorating is that our home is a very real extension of who we are, and that we all have a deep desire for our homes to be beautiful and in balance.
